William Pinckney Cobb, my grandfather, was employed for his entire life as a carpenter in Kings Mountain. Being a carpenter, William Pinckney helped some of his children build their first homes. He was fond of new gadgets and was the proud owner of one of the first Model-T Fords in Kings Mountain.
